CLEAR THE SHELTERS DECLARED A SUCCESS

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (August 24, 2018)  34 animals found themselves in their new forever homes following the annual Clear the Shelters held on Saturday, August 18th.  "It is such a great feeling to see that number of animals go to loving homes in one day.  People are just so happy to be bringing this new life into their home to be a part of their families." said CCHS Community Relations Director Brian Papalia. This is the second year in a row that CCHS led Western New York on the number of animals adopted during Clear The Shelters.  Kittens, cats, dogs and 5 rats all found homes through the effort. The Chautauqua County Humane Society (CCHS) teamed up with WGRZ Ch. 2 On Your Side to host NBC/Universal Owned Television Stations’ Clear the Shelters annual nationwide pet adoption drive.
