It's March. The budget is due on April 1.
It's time for our state legislators to speak out for the Companion Animal Capital Fund in their respective conferences. Please email them today with our simple message.
Companion Animal Capital Fund grants have changed the face of shelters across NYS. The Fund was in the budget since FY17-18 and because of COVID was not included last year. We have pivotal support from our champions, Assemblywoman Deborah Glick and State Senator Joseph Addabbo. We also have support from the chairs of the respective Agriculture Committees--Donna Lupardo in the Assembly and Michelle Hinchey in the Senate.
