CCHS Community Through Hockey Fundraiser Successful

The Chautauqua County Humane Society/Community Through Hockey All-Star fundraiser held Sunday, April 6th at the Northwest Arena raised $9,835 to benefit the animals in our community that rely on CCHS programs and services. The South County All-Stars won the game 6-1 over the North County All Stars, but the animals were the real winners.

Director of Fundraising and Communication Brian Papalia thanked everyone that made the day possible, “First we thank our amazing community for coming out to enjoy the hockey and support the animals that rely on CCHS. We also thank Eric Herman and Tony Privitera from Community Through Hockey. They volunteer to put these teams together and coach them. They also help with fundraising. We thank the players (see rosters below) for taking the afternoon to play the game! Special thanks to Andrew Hill and Tyler Hill for volunteering to announce and set the atmosphere for the game! We have a wonderful team of CCHS Volunteers that worked so hard to make this game a reality.”

We want to thank our sponsors: Media One Radio Group, Supportive Divorce Solutions, Basil Fredonia, Greater Chautauqua Federal Credit Union, Lake Life Café, Jones Chevrolet, and Kinetic by Windstream.
