Charitable Distribution From Your IRA

If you are over 70 and a half years of age, you can use your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), and any additional distribution from your IRA to make a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) directly to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, so it does not create taxable income for you.

Gifts by Beneficiary Designation

A gift by beneficiary designation is one of the easiest gifts to give because it costs you nothing now, does not require a lawyer, and you can change your beneficiaries at any time. Name The Chautauqua County Humane Society, Inc. as a beneficiary of your retirement account, life insurance plan, bank account, or other assets. Email Holly Mullard at hmullard@chqhumane.org or call 716-665-2209 x214 for help making these changes and learn more. We can help you from start to finish including getting and helping you fill out the correct paperwork to make the changes easily.
