Gus is 12 years old and has spent nearly 200 days in a shelter. On September 4, he will officially reach 200 days with us.

Two hundred days is a long time for any dog, especially a senior who deserves to spend his golden years somewhere warm, comfortable, and loved.

Gus is a sweet gentleman who can coexist nicely with other dogs. He does have a prey drive, so he needs a home without cats or small animals. We are hoping to find Gus a foster home. You don’t have to commit to adopting him you can simply give him a soft place to land and a break from shelter life. Gus doesn’t ask for much. Love, attention, food, a comfortable place to sleep, and a person to spend his days with.
