About The Artists:

Kelly Johnson is a nature and landscape photographer with a love for capturing the quiet magic of the outdoors. Her work highlights beauty in everyday moments-whether it’s a peaceful forest trail, a dramatic sky, or the gentle stillness of early morning light. When she’s not behind the camera, Kelly cares for animals as the Animal Care and Facilities Manager at the Chautauqua County Humane Society, a role she’s proudly held for over 12 years. Her deep love for animals and the natural world shines through in everything she does. Kelly’s photography is inspired by the same things that guide her life: compassion, curiosity, and a strong connection to the world around her.

Cathy Panebianco uses her photography as a memory excavator to delve deeply into her life and her family’s lives, to come to terms with who she was, who she is, and who she wants to be. Her work has been exhibited internationally and in the U.S and won numerous awards. Her monograph, Holding Time, was published in March 2021 and is included in the collections of the George Eastman Museum and the Museum of Modern Art libraries. She is a lifelong animal lover and a former CCHS Board member. Cathy has volunteered for over 20 years taking photographs of the shelter’s animals in hopes of helping them find their forever homes.

Zoe Spencer is the Behavior and Enrichment Coordinator at the Chautauqua County Humane Society and owner of Zoe Spencer Visuals, specializing in candid and dog sport photography. Zoe’s passion lies in providing dogs with enriching lives that meet their individual genetic needs, by providing them with opportunities to express natural behaviors through enrichment, training, sports, and activities and capturing it all through the eye of the camera.
