At most schools, graduation season brings caps, gowns, and proud families snapping photos. At CCHS, it brings something a little different: tiny paws, big purrs, and more whiskers than we can count. Over the next 4 to 6 weeks, more than 50 kittens will be “graduating” from their foster homes and heading to CCHS to begin the next chapter of their lives, finding a family of their very own.

These little scholars have spent their foster months learning all the important life skills. They’ve practiced their pouncing, perfected the art of lap warming, and their purrs have been finetuned to melt even the toughest hearts. Thanks to their foster families, they’ve grown confident, social, and ready to take on your living room.

As these kittens arrive at the shelter, we’ll share their stories and post them as they become available. Whether you’re hoping for a playful sidekick, a quiet companion, or a pair of siblings who do everything together, this graduating class has someone for everyone.
