Today marks the day that Twinkle has been with the Chautauqua County Humane Society for 365 days. Why has she been here that long? Because Twinkle needs to be the queen of her castle. She needs someone that speaks fluent cat language and knows when to show her love and when to leave her the H-E-double-hockey-sticks alone. Don’t worry, she loves to talk to you and is not shy about telling you when she does and does not want attention.

With volunteers and staff alike, Twinkle has shown that she LOVES the attention. Nothing makes her happier than hopping onto a person’s lap to snuggle. However, the owner of that lap needs to watch for the subtle and then not so subtle signals Twinkle gives to let you know that she is ready to have her space back.

If you are this person. The true feline expert. Please, come to the Chautauqua County Humane Society to meet Twinkle! Volunteers and staff love Twinkle, and she is cared for very well at CCHS. But a day in a shelter can never be as comfortable as a day in your home. That is what an amazing cat like Twinkle deserves.
