Welcome to Grossology: The Hidden Health of Pets, proudly presented by Chautauqua Chemicals Company and supported by Moonbrook Veterinary Hospital. Grossology is the delightfully messy, wonderfully weird corner of CCHS Pet Expo ’26 where curiosity meets comedy and pet health gets a playful twist. This exhibit celebrates all the “yuck” that comes with loving animals: the mysterious smells, the questionable puddles, the surprise hairballs, and turns them into moments of discovery.

Grossology is designed for families, kids, and anyone who’s ever looked at something their pet produced and thought, …should I be worried? Here, you’ll explore the strange clues pets leave behind and learn how those everyday gross moments can actually help you spot early signs of illness. It’s hands‑on, it’s lighthearted, and it makes learning feel like an adventure instead of a lecture.

You’ll laugh, you’ll cringe, you’ll definitely point at something and say, “oh wow,” and you’ll walk away feeling more confident about keeping your pets healthy and safe. Grossology proves that caring for animals isn’t always glamorous, but it’s always fascinating.

This exhibit is made possible through the generous support of Chautauqua Chemicals Company and Moonbrook Veterinary Hospital, whose expertise brings the science behind the “yuck” to life.

Grossology: Come explore the gross, embrace the fun, and discover the surprising stories your pets are telling you.
