Randolph Elmentary Students Support Pennies 4 Paws

Wednesday, April 13, 2022

Mrs. Beaver’s 6th grade class recently held the annual Pennies for Paws campaign to help the Humane Society. The students wrote and made announcements, made posters, and made and delivered jars to all of the classrooms at the elementary school. The penny drive lasted for 2 weeks in March. At the end of the two weeks, the students collected all of the jars of donations, and then had to count all of the pennies! The winning classrooms this year were in 5th place, with $30.43, Mrs. Calimeri’s 3rd grade. In 4th place, with $35.20, was Ms. Bohall’s 3rd grade. In 3rd place, with $40.72, was Mrs. Young’s 6th grade. In 2nd place, with $44.93, was Mrs. Johnson’s PreK. And in 1st place, bringing in $55.45, was Miss Erskine’s 1st grade classroom! Overall, we were able to raise $633.83 for the Humane Society. Thank you to all of the families that sent in pennies and donations this year. Start saving those pennies for next year!!
