PENNIES 4 PAWS CAMPAIGN KICKS OFF 2/12

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (February 8, 2022) The Chautauqua County Humane Society’s (CCHS) seventeenth annual Pennies 4 Paws campaign kicks off February 12th and continues through April 30th. CCHS Partnership Director Brian Papalia said, “Funds raised during the campaign stay local and are critical to the proper care and rehabilitation of the animals in our shelter. We do not receive any county, state, or federal funding. In addition to those friendly and healthy animals who enter our facility, many more come to us sick or scared and in need of advanced care. When you support Pennies 4 Paws, you are saving lives.

The goal of Pennies 4 Paws is to collect 2 million pennies, or $20,000. CCHS Partnership Director Brian Papalia said “It is very important that we reach our goal so we can continue the work being done at CCHS. We are asking folks to consider supporting the animals at the CCHS by donating at Chqhumane.org, creating fundraisers on Facebook, or by dropping spare change in one of our collection containers that can be found at a number of area businesses.”

Pennies 4 Paws is sponsored by Happy Hounds Hotel and Day Spa, The  Media One Radio Group  (SE-93, 101.9 WHUG, 103.1 The Fox, 106.9 Kiss FM, 1240am & 101.3 FM WJTN 1340am WKSN), WNY News Now, Chautauqua Mall, JB Liquor, Caseslla Waste Management Services, Chautauqua Chemicals Company, Howard Hannah Holt Real Estate, and 2nd Chances Thrift Store.
