Haunting at the Mall to benefit Chautauqua County Humane Society

The Haunting at Chautauqua Mall opens its doors Friday, October 6th at the Chautauqua Mall in Lakewood.The indoor haunted house, which is located on the second floor above JCPenney with an exterior entrance behind the store, is celebrating their fifth year of operation. The dates of the “Asylum 716” haunted house continues every Friday and Saturday through Oct. 28 from 7:30-11:30 p.m. This year, the guideless haunt of scares will feature a museum of past props, costumes and masks from previous years. The cost is $12 for discounted pre-sale tickets available at Don’s Car Wash, Second Chances Thrift Store and Outrage Art in Jamestown or on-line at www.eventzbyscott.com. The price at the door is $15 per person. A special kid-friendly haunt on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 3 to 6 p.m. for $5 per person during the mall-wide 2-4 p.m. Boo Bash trick or treat event will also take place.A portion of the proceeds benefit the Chautauqua County Humane Society in Jamestown.
