CCHS Dog Blog Featuring Goliath

“Wow, that’s a big dog.” That is pretty common to hear when people first see Goliath at CCHS. The traits you don’t see at first glance are Goliath’s larger than life personality and his big heart. Goliath is an active 5 year old who loves his play time. All you need is a sturdy tennis ball and some yard space and he is one happy guy. Don’t worry about picking up the ball, because he brings it right back to you. Some would say that the best part comes after play time when Goliath thanks you with some cuddle time! He does love attention.
If you already have a dog and are looking to add to the pack, schedule a dog meet with the CCHS Behavior Department. Goliath does get along with other dogs, they just have to be ready for a little bit of rough play. If there are cats or other fuzzy animals at your house, that’s not going to be a good fit. If you have kids in the house it’s probably better if they are a little older or have been taught how to respect and properly treat a dog.
Goliath has been relying on CCHS since he was surrendered on October 5th, 2019 and is looking for a companion that has an active lifestyle, he just might be your guy. Stop by CCHS to meet Goliath soon. If you want to get a feel for what life with him could be like, you can always take him on an Expawdition. He would love you for it!
