JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (December 26, 2022) The Chautauqua County Humane Society (CCHS) is extending the Season of Hope adoption drive to this Friday, December 30th. The Season of Hope is presented by Happy Hounds Hotel and Day Spa and our goal is  to get one hundred animals into loving homes through adoption or fostering. CCHS Senior Programs Director Brian Papalia said “Before the storm started interfering with everyone’s lives last week, we had a total of 75 animals move on to their forever homes. 60 through adoption and 15 through the CCHS Foster Program. This week we are doing something special, all adoption fees will be half off in hopes that we can reach the goal of getting 100 animals.”

Brian also said, “The Chautauqua County Humane Society’s Adoption Center located at 2825 Strunk Road in Jamestown, has open lobby hours to the public for cat adoptions. The lobby is open from 1pm to 5:30pm Mondays through Wednesday and Friday this week, we will be closed on Saturday.
