CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY HONORS TOP W4P FUNDRAISERS

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (November 17, 2015) – Every year at the beginning of October, the Chautauqua County Humane Society hosts its largest fundraiser, the Walk 4 Paws. This year’s fundraiser took place on October 3 at the Chautauqua Institution and collectively raised $30,619.00. On Saturday, November 7, the Chautauqua County Humane Society held an awards presentation to thank and reward their top W4P fundraisers. The event was held at the CCHS Strunk Road location.
This year’s top individual fundraisers were Ellie Hartnagel at $2,595, Reiley Kolstee raised $1,330 and Maggie Irwin was close behind with $630. They were awarded engraved porcelain pet bowls. The leading teams were Flarfy’s Family with $1,717, The Resource Center Paw Walkers collected $1,640 and Canine Crusaders finished third with $1,337. The teams were awarded trophies.
